We are currently conducting an international pivotal study to study Mila’ impact on the child’s reading skills. As a result, registrations are currently on hold but please let us know if you are interested in participating in our next clinical trial!

We use in-house rhythmic and clinical metrics to adapt the difficulty of our courses as much as possible for the children and we are working to allow you to easily follow the child's progress within your personal space.

Mila belongs to digital therapeutics: evidence-based interventions driven by high-quality software to prevent and support disorders. The development of these therapies is driven with the same standards of evidence, quality and regulatory supervision as traditional medical treatments. The commitments we have therefore made are as follows:
As an example, this involves for the clinical demonstration conducting rigorous studies approved by the authorities (ANSM, FDA...), including a control arm to avoid a placebo effect, guaranteeing the transparency of the statistical analysis and publishing the results in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
These very high standards are, in our opinion, a sine-qua-non condition for the trust that families and health professionals may place in us. Far too many claims and false promises have been made and are unfortunately still being made, to the detriment of patients and science.
In line with this philosophy, we are committed to promoting science on the subject and to encourage the creation of numerous multipartners research projects to better support children. Scientists, speech therapists and psychomotricians without whom we could not build Mila, and whose feedback allows us to improve the therapeutic accompaniment of the children. Mila stems directly from the rich neuroscience literature of recent years devoted to the implications of auditory and rhythmic stimulation on the strengthening of connections between distant brain areas.
A growing number of studies thus show that rhythm and music training interventions are effective in improving reading skills in children with dyslexia [1]; the improvements observed are close to those obtained with methods more conventionally used in clinical practice such as phoneme discrimination training. The effect of musical and rhythmic interventions also extends to other motor and cognitive functions; they may therefore also be beneficial in other developmental disorders (ADHD, language disorders, etc.). Presentation in the form of a game helps to increase adherence to training; the goal is to provide content that is as recreational as the commercial games that children usually play.
Two pre-clinical studies were conducted at the Centre de rééducation neurologique de l'hôpital Bicêtre (15 children, 2018) and in Quebec City (55 children, 2020).
A large-scale clinical study is being prepared in collaboration with Pitié-Salpêtrière to confirm the usefulness of this approach.
